Informed consent
Agreement given by someone who understands what they are agreeing to.
What it commits you to
Informed consent requires comprehension, voluntariness, and a real alternative to refusal. It fails badly for long-horizon and technical risks, because understanding a century-scale probability is not the same as accepting it. This is the strongest objection to treating aggregate welfare as sufficient consent, and the reason many AI systems cannot claim it.
