Eudaimonia
Flourishing: the human life lived well, rather than the merely pleasant one.
What it commits you to
Aristotle distinguishes eudaimonia from pleasure and from prosperity. It is an activity in accordance with virtue over a whole life, which means it cannot be fully specified in advance or achieved by an isolated act. It also has a structure — doing well is doing one's own well well — which is why an agentic AI is not straightforwardly a candidate for it.
Which realms lean on this
Ethics is where the realms argue about what counts: the parties, the pleasures, the duties, the care.
